Silver Copper Brass

This beautiful effect is a best seller.  A half dollar is placed in the left hand, while the right holds a brass Chinese coin and a copper Mexican coin.  Slowly, your right hand closes over the copper and brass coins.  When it is opened an instant later, the half dollar has taken their place.  The two foreign coins have jumped to the left hand. 

A series of transpositions follows, and at the finish, all the coins are left for examination.  The mystery is greatly enhanced by the fact that the coins are so different - especially the Chinese coin, which has a hole in it.
